The Hanged

The Hanged

Number 12, The Hanged card.

The Hanged card shows a Pixie hanging from a tree by the leg, tied up in a straight jacket. We also see that the sky has been clouded over and there are signs pointing in many directions. With the sky covered and multiple unmarked signs, it's evident that the pathway is not so clear...
The Hanged Pixie suggests wanting change, but being unsure of what direction to take. The Pixie hangs from the tree all tied up, and when they are ready, they will figure out a way to free themselves. Getting out of a straight jacket is hard, but not impossible. This reminds us that though things may seem impossible, if you put your mind to it and give it your all, you will find a way to get what you want.
The Pixie recognizes that it's important to really examine all possibilities and look at all perspectives before making a clear decision. It's important to wait and have patience, even if it means we must sacrifice our time or something of importance. The right things happen at the right time for the best reasons.

They don't seem obvious or perhaps you feel that they are unrealistic. Maybe you even feel like you're undeserving of these opportunities. This might suggest that you have some past wounds that need healing in order to build up some self-esteem.
This card could alternatively suggest that maybe you're putting in a lot of time and effort into certain things, but you're not seeing any results. You feel at an absolute standstill and nothing seems to want to progress.
Take a step back and try to look at what is in front of you. Try to slow down and re-examine all your options. What do you want to see happen? What steps can you take towards that goal? What opportunities can you open yourself up to?
